Devil’s Den Spring
This prehistoric underground spring is something you can’t miss! Located inside of a dry cave, this spring is fantastic for snorkeling and scuba diving. This spring is not open for general swimming, but you can purchase tickets to snorkel or scuba dive. This cave was home to many fossils dating back to the Pleistocene Age, many of which are on display at The University of Florida’s Museum of Natural History. This bucket list attraction is located in Williston, Florida.
St. Augustine
For our history fans, Saint Augustine is the bucket list item for you! Saint Augustine is the oldest permanent European settlement in North America. There is so much to do, such as visiting Castilla de San Marcos, the oldest masonry fort here in the United States, or checking out the St. Augustine Lighthouse. Visitors can take tours of Saint Augustine by horse drawn carriages, sailboats, walking, trollies, and more.
Caverns State Park Cave Tours
This unique, underground limestone cave system is a true natural Florida beauty. You can take a tour of the cave system, which is lit up by a state of the art LED lighting system. Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix
F1 featured a new race for the 2022 season, hosted right in Miami! The energy of this event was second to none. For those unfamiliar with Formula 1 racing, this is an international auto racing sport. The race cars can reach up to 223mph while speeding around complicated tracks, featuring tight turns and curves. In Miami, the Hard Rock Stadium is located at the center of the track, giving spectators the experience of a lifetime. Not to mention, you can enjoy being in Miami the whole time you’re there.
Everglades National Park
Everglades National Park is a 1.5 million acre wetlands preserve, right here in our home state of Florida. This park was established in 1947, to prevent degradation of the beautiful lands. Everglades National Park is home to countless endangered animals, making this a must-see location. There are boat and tram tours available, as well as options to rent bicycles and kayaks in the park.
